Kathryn and Alexis
I know what happened to them but...I need to know the details. I can't stop until I do.
Notes
- Off limits according to Adam. Why would they be?? What the hell did she get into?
- Both went missing around 9pm on 10/23/2019.
- No bodies found.
- I received one phone call the night of, where Kathryn asked me to come pick her and Alexis up. She wouldn't tell me where.
- On that call, I heard gunshots before the call was dropped.
- There was a rebel incident that night. It has to be related.
- Her car was found near Torres Field. Nothing else was found there.
- Sighted by a night-time jogger, Claudia Winfred, driving there with Alexis in the backseat.
- Nothing found among Kathryn's belongings at home, or on her laptop. She had an iPad but it's missing too.
- One of our home firearms went missing that night as well.
- She had asked me the night before to bring Alexis with me during the Harvest Festival. I refused because I was on duty. I never should have.

Update 9/14

- I finally have the answers I needed. Mostly. I joined the rebellion when they reached out to Daniel's group and finally got into contact with Sanders again. They're planning something with the Carter Company but that's not even relevant.

- When I reached out to him on the 12th, Sanders said this: "Kathryn was one of us. She joined around the time we started in 2018 after I reached out to her anonymously online. Anyway, she attended some of the meetings, not all. Always friendly, and really good at strategy and security. She ended up in the strike team for the 2019 Festival. Seemed hesitant but she believed in it enough. I don't know why she did it but...she brought her kid...well, your kid, to the attack, and left her in the car about a half mile away. I still don't know why she'd ever do that. So risky. So stupid. She asked me to find some way to protect her if things went badly since I was the only person she really had a connection to there. I don't know what I could have even done but I said yes. It was the first time I realized who she was under the mask/username. I'd seen her around town, even talked to her once or twice. But anyway, you knew how it went. Everything in that attack went to shit like 10 minutes later. As soon as it did, I tried to get to the kid. Alexis, right? I really did. But the Hosted were everywhere. I got to that car as fast as I could and I was so close and then I saw...Adam. He was going near the car and I don't know what the hell he was doing. I was about to attack him when I saw another 10 Hosted coming up behind him, maybe a hundred yards back. Adam glanced over his shoulder at them, then over in my direction. I think he saw me. The others didn't. But...I ran. I still regret that. I should have fought. Might have been able to save her though. Fuck. I don't know. I'm so sorry for your loss and for the whole mess in 2019. I'm glad you found your way to us though. I respect your work a lot. If you have any more questions, reach out anytime. I am truly sorry.

-SANDERS"

- Fine. SANDERS is a fuckup. Kathryn made a bad choice and got herself killed. I can live with that. But Alexis?? What the fuck was she thinking?! And what the FUCK was Adam doing? I needed to know. So....I broke into Adam's office and stole his laptop last night. Trying to unlock it now. The rebels did it once right? I'll figure it out.
