"SANDERS"

A major rebel figure. Finding him could be the key to finding the rebellion.

Notes

- Hacker from the Walker Creek Rebellion

- Mentioned in several police reports, including the Walker Creek Observatory attack

- Seems to be a very high level of the Rebellion, possibly leadership

- Over the years, he has created various social media accounts and carried out several pranks against official WCC servers and social media accounts, including the Tourism Site, Tourism Instagram, WCPD Servers and Carter Company Servers. All accounts were deleted quickly thus far.

- A Flash Drive in the Observatory labeled with the name "SANDERS" was found. Theorized to be a virus of some sort, or possibly a mistake, with the drive being left behind in the attack. Password protected, currently still locked. NOTE: It was unlocked by the investigators in early July, but it was wiped. It contained only a message from SANDERS saying that they had completed their communications and wiped the drive so the Hosted wouldn't find anything.

- Recently, he's been breaking into WCPD and WCTB servers. We don't have any sort of cybersecurity division in the WCPD so we're essentially at his mercy. I've been trying to get his attention but so far it ain't working.

- Left files on the servers on the day of the Mayors Office attack. It was eventually decoded and led to this reddit account.

- The account contained a message to be decoded:

"Hey Walker Creek, this is Sanders. You never figured out what I made for you in February, but that's alright. I'm hoping you can solve this one. A little cryptography for a history nerd like me. If you're reading this then we either killed Jones, injured Jones, or screwed up completely. No matter what you're here now, reading this. Y'all should know that these attacks are only going to get worse. I'm in all of your databases. I see everything you do. Nathaniel knows everything you do. Now I could go on and on and keep threatening you, but that feels useless. I'll end this off with a few specific messages.

Message for Management: We're not done hunting you down. Jones is only the start.

Message for the Hosted: We wish you'd reconsider but we also know that's not gonna happen.

Message for the Investigatora: I see you.

Kind Regards,

The Walker Creek Rebellion"

- He's watching all of us, he just won't talk to us. Communicating with the account has proved useless.

- Personally, I believe that he is the best lead to find any Rebellion info, as he is the only one with a name and online presence, even if it is sporatic.

UPDATE 7/12

- After plugging in the flash drive recieved from Thomas Abernathy's home, I received a call from an unknown number. It was SANDERS. Our conversation was as followed:

"Me: Hello?

S: This is SANDERS. You're [REDACTED]. I know what you did to Thomas.

Me: So this is how it works.

We made the logical choice.

S: I agree, but that doesn't absolve you.

Me: No. We got this far though. We got to contact you. And you were watching everything with your computers, you could have saved him.

S: It was too risky by the time you pinpointed his location. And for the record, I didn't want to be contacted. You've already risked our operation.

Me: We didn't do shit.

S: You and your internet investigators got Abernathy to leak information on a public account probably monitored by Management. And you let him know about yourself and other investigators before letting him go back and give the Tour guide everything he knows. Hell, it could've been a trap made by them anyway.

Me: Thomas was the one who did that.

S: Yeah and he's the one I'm disappointed in the most.

I get that you want answers. I have them. But not yet.

Me: When? We already got a guy killed just to talk to you. What else does it take?

S: Time. I was going to reach out when it was necessary. I still will. But you decided to get in contact early. You chose to abandon Abernathy to do that, I didn't tell you to.

Me: Fine.

Can I have one question answered though? It's about K-

S: No."

He hung up at that point.
