Thomas Abernathy

A former rebel turned Hosted now turned back to a rebel? He escaped in the wake of the 6/29 Rebel attack. Management couldn't find him in a week so now they're bringing the WCPD in.

Notes

- Accountant at the Carter Company before becoming Hosted.

- Low level rebel before becoming Hosted.

- Participated in the 2/3 Rebel Attack on the Observatory and got captured.

- Gave up the name of the rebellion website, though it was already wiped by the time he did so.

- Tried to bargain with Adam but ended up screwing himself with his hatred of the Hosted, so they turned him into one of them.

- Last week while all the Hosted were defending the Mayors Office he escaped The Home, killing 2 Hosted on the way out.

- He's been missing all week and they're getting desperate.

- It's unknown if he's host surfacing or just going against the Hosted anyway. Regardless, they'll finish the job or kill him if they find him now.

- I'm working with the WCPD to try to gain clues from them, but I need to find him before they do. I might not like the rebels but I still wanna help this guy.

- If we can contact Sanders, Thomas, or the rebellion we could have a better chance. I don't know if it's possible but we have to pursue every avenue.

- As a sidenote, he could give us valuable information if we can find him. Not the main priority though.

UPDATE 7/12

- We found that he made a Twitter account, trying to make contact with the rebellion. He was pinned down in a barn on Cinder Peak and had escaped after surfacing.

- We got him to answer questions about the rebellion and Hosted.

- I offered to help him, which is when he told me about a flash drive that, when plugged in, would ping SANDERS and let him know your location. I was supposed to get to the barn and give this to Abernathy.

- By the time I got the drive and went to scout the area, there were Hosted outside. They didn't attack Thomas, but they were waiting for something.

- Next day, they were still waiting. I asked the investigators to choose: risk it trying to save him and get a rebel on our side, or risk nothing by abandoning him and taking the flash drive for ourselves. They voted to abandon him.

- I plugged in the drive last night and revived a call from SANDERS. I have written a transcript on the "SANDERS" page.

- I do feel bad for what we did to the poor guy: dooming him to become a Host again. But it was the most logical option.
